With great experience as a Chicago Realtor and servicing all areas, I help both buyers and sellers meet their real estate objectives. I have extensive knowledge of each of the communities located in and around Chicago, and I will work tirelessly on your behalf to make your next home buying or selling experience a pleasant and successful one.

As a Realtor, I celebrate 18 years at Century 21 McMullen.

LEGISLATIVE APPOINTMENTS

 Legislative Liaison- Illinois Association of Realtors, Springfield, Il 2006 to Present Appointed by the Illinois Association of Realtor's President, to act as a collective voice for Realtors,  lobbying on regulatory issues, governmental affairs,  and answering "call to actions" on behalf of Illinois Realtors.

 Executive Director, Norwood Park Chamber of Commerce, (City of Chicago) 2002-2003  - Elected to this high-profile leadership post that serves a historic and established community on Chicago’s Northwest Side; working under the guidance and direction of the staff of Mayor Richard J. Daley.  Providing a vision and strategy to area businesses in an effort to foster economic growth and stability were just a few of the detailed orientated tasks. Facilitating government grants for community improvement and beautification projects, and developed close, productive working relationships with city officials, civic leaders and the business community.  

 

Wright College Real Estate Advisory Board Council, Chicago, IL 1999-2003

This advisory board provided a collective voice to foster professional growth within the industry and helped to create continuing education classes for the real estate, appraisal and broker sectors; also, featured as a guest speaker at the college’s Career Day.

 

Member, Northwest Association of Realtor’s Legislative Committee,

Chicago, IL 1999-2000-

As an  active member of this policy-making committee, discussions centered on city and suburban zoning issues; and, changes in laws pertaining to the housing and building markets.  The committee reported their feedback to the local government.

 

Recipient of the RPAC Lifetime Achievement Award- Realtors Political Action committee for Contributions to its ongoing campaign for educating Realtors on current legislative topics. 

 

 

COMMUNITY SERVICE

 Institutional Advancement Board Member, Saint Patrick’s High School, Chicago, IL 2006-Present-   A Volunteer Goodwill Ambassador, Our Board Member Mission statement at Saint Patrick High School: “Striving to build, maintain, and cultivate relationships that will benefit the program and students of the school.  Maintaining high ethical standards and integrity as a team fundraising effort…”  Duties include program development, major gift solicitation, and direct market mailings to attract and retain benefactors; as well as, successful high end event plat forming and development of strategic planning.  Multi-million dollar fundraising staff goals set spanning one to five year ranges to be implemented for various projects; area of specialty, Annual Silent Auction organizer and benefactor.

 

Founder and Organizer – Dane’s Closet Chicago, A family-run philanthropic project benefiting the Easter Seals foundation. The inspiration to launch this venture came after hearing the compelling and compassionate accounts of the guest speakers who represented Easter Seals at Century 21’s 2007 Masters Retreat. Recycling household sports equipment on Ebay is just one of the ways this project assists families for Easter Seals camp programs.

 

Organizer, Annual Women’s Clothing Drive – Bottomless Closet, Chicago, IL

A first-of-its-kind workforce development organization that addresses the needs of low-income women; a founding member of The Women’s Alliance, a national organization of independent community-based “sister organizations” which provide professional attire, personal and professional career skills training and related services to low-income women 

 

Participant, Norwood Park Northwest Highway Revitalization Program, Chicago, IL 2007- Present

Currently involved in this ongoing grassroots effort by petitioning area residents on voting options for local area businesses.

 

Women’s Council Board President- St Thecla Parish Chicago, IL- 1991-1994

Governing 200-300 women in fundraising events, Parish mission projects, and organizing monthly social events; included public speakers on topics of finance, health and safety, entertainers for holiday festivities and, Annual Parish Fashion show coordinator .

 

    Principal for a Day,” The City of Chicago Public School System, Chicago, IL 2001- 2007

Selected among local dignitaries to serve as “Principal of the Day” in the Chicago Public School System, this role lent itself the opportunity to share and foster ideas, resources and sense of responsibility for public education. Speaking to students about the importance of maintaining good grades and attendance as a means to empower themselves on the road to success.  

 

  REALTOR INDUSTRY ACHIEVMENTS

 

 -185,000,000 in Career Sales Volume

 

-48th Inductee into the Century 21 International Hall of Fame out of 170,000 agents.  Award was presented by General Colin Powell, for 16 dedicated years of service, high sales volume, and outstanding work in the area of Philanthropy.

 

-Century 21 Honor Society Member.  This award is fora minimum 5 years of consecutive outstanding customer service.  This exclusive award is reserved for agents who not only have the highest level of sales volume, but also the highest level of customer service.  It is a pinnacle award in the Century 21 system.

 

-Illinois Top 40 under 40 Realtors in Illinois 2006

 

 OTHER AWARDS AND ACCREDATIONS

 

-Chicago Archdiocese “Award of Excellence” Joseph Cardinal Bernardin Archdiocesan Council

For preparing a detailed report formulating a five-year budget plan for church and school operations. The report compiled data on trends in real estate, parish finances and student departures over a ten-year period.
